The Good Stuff

Sometimes, I don’t know if our life has spun out of control or if this is the good stuff. Dishes abandoned in the sink for a last-minute drive to catch the sunset. A slightly overgrown yard impatiently awaiting our return from a day at the river. A garage overflowing with bikes, kayaks, camping gear, and old VWs… where nothing can be found, but everything is at hand for the next impulsive adventure. Plans to replace the carpet again put on hold for another year to fund a trip to Europe because “airfare is ridiculously cheap.” This is the good stuff…right?
